Portland’s Ted Wheeler may have just realized that he’s the mayor. I know that sounds crazy, but so does finally telling the police to do their job after months of chaos. I know, right!
There has been utter chaos in Portland for months now, and finally Ted Wheeler realizes this casually after the 2020 election where Joe Biden defeated President Donald Trump, sparking a plethora of legal challenges in hopes to turn the Biden victory upside down.
But make no mistake, the cops can finally do their job thanks to the Democrat Mayor officially saying it’s OK to go to work and do your job now.
Thanks a lot Ted Wheeler! Portland is finally on my list of tourist spots to travel to now. You know, just not during a holiday when the airports are majorly crowded. Too many germs floating around in one space, kinda like the CHAZ.
Don’t believe me that Ted Wheeler is finally allowing cops to do what they’re hired to do? Well then take it right from the Democrat donkey himself.
I am authorizing the Portland Police to use all lawful means to end the illegal occupation on North Mississippi Avenue and to hold those violating our community’s laws accountable. There will be no autonomous zone in Portland.

We all agree many of our nation’s systems and structures are fundamentally racist and require significant reform. There’s a housing crisis, a health care crisis, an education crisis, an employment crisis, a mental health crisis, and an addiction crisis.
— Mayor Ted Wheeler (@tedwheeler) December 9, 2020
All of these crises are magnified in urban areas, including Portland. And, these crises disproportionately impact Black people.

It’s also true that illegal trespassing, ignoring lawful orders from police, blocking sidewalks and streets, and intimidating neighbors inflame these crises and make them more difficult to solve. That is what’s happening on North Mississippi Avenue right now.

There was a lengthy, thorough judicial proceeding resulting in a lawful judge’s order to evict people illegally occupying a home. Multnomah County chose the time, place and manner of the eviction and Portland Police provided support.

It’s time for the encampment and occupation to end. There are many ways to protest and work toward needed reform. Illegally occupying private property, openly carrying weapons, threatening and intimidating people are not among them.

I imagine if Ted Wheeler was saying this out loud it would be like the Charlie Brown teacher BLAH BLAH BLAH BLAH BLAH!
Portland is so out of control and the cops are pretty much outnumbered. So what exactly is going to happen besides more chaos?
Would anyone like to chime in and make some predictions on how this is all going to play out?
Do the cops and Antifa even care to be bothered by each other anymore?
Ten bucks says they all just want to go home and don’t even care at this point.
